  • sugar - 1/4 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • instant coffee - 1/3 c
  • whole milk - 5 c
  • dash of salt optional - 1 item
  • coffee ice cream vanilla can be used instead of coffee - 1 pt
  • whipped cream and ground nutmeg - 1 item

How to make plantation coffee punch:

Combine sugar, coffee, vanilla, salt and milk; stir until sugar dissolves. Chill until ready to serve. Put large scoops of ice cream into punch bowl; pour chilled coffee mixture over ice cream. Top with puffs of whipped cream sprinkled with nutmeg. Can be served in punch cups. Yield: 12 servings.
