Pizza meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- minced onion - 2 Tbsp
- spaghetti sauce - 1 item
- fresh bread crumbs - 1 c
- Monterey Jack cheese - 1/2 lb
How to make pizza meatballs:
Cut cheese into 20 (1/2-inch) cubes. Shred remaining cheese; set aside. In bowl, mix with hands, beef, bread crumbs, milk, onion, salt, pepper and egg. Make meatballs around cube of cheese, so cheese is in center of each. In skillet, heat oil and lightly brown meatballs. Place in baking dish. Cover with spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
