Pistachio dessert
Ingredients/Components
- stick margarine - 1 item
- flour - 1 c
- chopped pecans - 1/2 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- Bake at 350° for 20 minutes
- large bowl Cool Whip - 1/2 item
- confectioners sugar - 1 c
- Put on top of cooled crust and chill for 20 minutes
- unflavored gelatin - 2 tsp
- milk - 3 c
How to make pistachio dessert:
Combine and press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch buttered pan or dish as you would a graham cracker crust. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool thoroughly.First Layer:8 oz. pkg. cream cheese1/2 large bowl Cool Whip1 c. confectioners sugar Whip cream cheese and sugar together and fold in Cool Whip. Put on top of cooled crust and chill for 20 minutes.Second Layer:2 pkg. instant pistachio pudding2 tsp. unflavored gelatin3 c. milk Whip the pudding and milk together for 2 minutes. Spread in pan over cream cheese layer. Spread remaining Cool Whip on top and put pecan halves or cherries, if desired.
