  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 1 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • confectioners sugar - 1 lb
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • Frosting:1 stick butter or margarine

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Frosting:1 stick butter or margarine3 Tbsp. cocoa1 c. chopped pecans1 lb. confectioners sugar1/4 c. milk Cream margarine, Crisco, sugar and eggs one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa together. Add alternately with milk and vanilla. Place in well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours, depending on oven. Frost with frosting.
