- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- Frosting:1 stick butter or margarine
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Frosting:1 stick butter or margarine3 Tbsp. cocoa1 c. chopped pecans1 lb. confectioners sugar1/4 c. milk Cream margarine, Crisco, sugar and eggs one at a time. Sift flour, baking powder and cocoa together. Add alternately with milk and vanilla. Place in well greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours, depending on oven.
