- butter - 1/4 lb
- brown sugar - 1 c
- can sliced pineapple reserve liquid - 1 oz
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
How to make pineapple upside-down cake:
Melt butter in a heavy frying pan. Spread brown sugar and pineapple over it. Beat egg yolks; add sugar, pineapple juice and flour/baking powder mix. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour over first mixture. Bake 20 minutes in 375° oven.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Pineapple.
