- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- pineapple juice - 3/4 c
- pineapple slices and cherries - 1 item
How to make pineapple upside-down cake:
Melt butter and brown sugar on low; heat in cake pan or skillet. Place pineapple slices and cherries in bottom of pan. Combine dry ingredients alternately with pineapple juice until well blended and pour over pineapple slices. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.
