Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 4 item
- egg whites - 4 item
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 item
- 9-inch pie shell, baked - 1 item
- rich cream - 1/2 c
How to make pineapple pie:
Beat egg yolks, sugar, flour, butter and cream. Mix well and add crushed pineapple. Cook until thick and pour into pie shell. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar. Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Beat until stiff. Put on top of pie and brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
