Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 6 oz
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- margarine - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- 4 oz - 1 lb
- egg yolks, slightly beaten - 3 item
- pineapple juice - 1 C
- medium bananas, sliced - 6 item
- Topping:1/2 C
- whipped cream or Dream Whip - 1 C
How to make pineapple-cheese salad:
Mix above ingredients; pour into 9x13 pyrex; chill until firm.Topping:1/2 C. granulated sugar2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour1 C. pineapple juice1 tsp. lemon juice3 egg yolks, slightly beaten1 Tbsp. margarine1 C. whipped cream or Dream Whip Combine first 5 ingredients; cook over low heat, stirring until smooth and thick. Stir in margarine; chill. Fold in whipped cream. Grate 2 cups Colby or mild cheddar cheese. Place jello slice on lettuce leaf.
