Ingredients/Components
- salt - 2 Tbsp
- water - 4 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- onion - 1 item
- dill - 1 item
- garlic - 1 item
- hot peppers optional - 1 item
- small whole okra - 1 item
How to make pickled okra:
Pack okra, onion, garlic, dill and one hot pepper (if desired) in pint jars. Boil water, vinegar and salt. Pour hot liquid over okra and seal. Put sealed jars in oven at 250° for 10 minutes to seal good. Cut oven off.You can pickle cauliflower like this too, it tastes good.
