Sunset salad
Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- grated carrots - 1 c
- 3 oz - 1 pkg
- boiling water
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- crushed pineapple - 1 can
How to make sunset salad:
Dissolve Jell-O and salt in boiling water. Add undrained pineapple and lemon juice. Chill until very thick. Then fold in carrots and pecans. Pour into a 1-quart mold. Chill until firm. Unmold. Garnish with additional pineapple, if desired. Makes about 3 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, American, Gelatin.
