Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- white vinegar - 2 c
- pickling spice - 2 Tbsp
- to 16 hard-boiled eggs - 12 item
- sliced onion optional - 1 item
How to make pickled eggs:
Combine all ingredients, except eggs. Simmer for about 5 minutes. Place peeled eggs in a large heavy jar and cover with liquid. Let stand for several days before serving for improved flavor. Can use several pods of sliced garlic, if desired.Recipe categories: Egg, Lunch/snacks, Appetizers.
