Peter paul mounds cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- coconut - 14 oz
- chocolate chips - 12 oz
- large marshmallows - 24 item
- chocolate cake mix, baked as directed - 1 item
How to make peter paul mounds cake:
Heat milk and sugar. Add marshmallows until melted. Add coconut. Spread on cake while it is still hot. Cool completely.Top with 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup sugar and margarine. Cook about 5 minutes, then add chocolate chips until melted. Spread on top of cake.
Best made a day before. A wonderful conversation piece for carry-ins.
