Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- white sugar - 1 c
- egg yolks, beaten - 3 item
- dry cocoa - 4 Tbsp
How to make chocolate pie:
Mix flour and sugar. Add beaten egg yolks, either 3 or 4 with milk. Cook over low heat until thickened. Remove from stove and stir in oleo. Pour into baked pie shell. Cover with meringue made from 3 or 4 egg whites beaten until stiff with 1/4 cup sugar added gradually. Bake in a 300° oven until brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
