Persimmon pudding
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- white sugar - 2 c
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- melted butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- persimmon pulp - 1 c
- sweet milk - 2 c
- sweet potatoes, grated or boiled - 2 c
How to make persimmon pudding:
Mix persimmon, sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs and milk together. Add flour mixture (dry ingredients, which have been mixed together), a little at a time, beating until smooth after each addition. Stir in butter. Pour mixture into greased and floured baking pan. Bake in oven at 350° until firm, about 1 1/4 hours.
