Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- flour - 2 2
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- stick melted margarine - 1 item
How to make persimmon pudding:
Mix together buttermilk and soda. Melt margarine in long casserole dish you plan to use. Add to batter. Makes 2 (1 1/2-quart) casserole dishes or 1 large pan. Cook at 350° until brown on top, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Place 2 strips bacon on top before cooking.Recipe categories: Fruit, American, North american.
