Pepper steak with mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- catsup - 1/2 c
- onion, chopped fine - 1/2 c
- beef bouillon cube - 1 item
- round steak, cubed - 1 lb
- medium onions, cut in rings - 2 item
- box fresh mushrooms, chopped - 1 item
- large peppers, cut in rings - 2 item
How to make pepper steak with mushrooms:
Brown beef cubes in shortening. Remove from pan. Blend in flour to make a smooth paste. Add catsup, water, soy sauce, pepper, bouillon cube, garlic and onion. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add beef to sauce. Cook until tendeRecipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Steak.
