Ingredients/Components
- round steak
- boiling water with 3 bouillon cubes - 2 c
- onion - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- celery - 1/2 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- pimento - 3 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 2 tsp
- water - 3 Tbsp
- green peppers - 2 item
How to make green pepper steak:
Cut steak and green peppers into thin strips. Brown steak in oil. Pour off grease and add water to meat. Cook until meat is tender. Add onion, celery, pimento, green peppers, salt, pepper and garlic powder to steak. Cover and cook another 30 minutes. Stir water into cornstarch along with soy sauce. Add slowly to meat, stirring until thickened. Serve over cooked noodles or rice.Recipe categories: Main dish, One Dish meal, White rice.
