Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 2/3 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 1 c
- soft butter - 1 Tbsp
- Filling:1 egg
How to make pecan tassies:
Filling:1 egg3/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. soft butter1 tsp. vanilla1/8 tsp. salt2/3 c. chopped pecans Cream the cream cheese and butter. Stir in flour and let this chill at least 1 hour. Next combine all the ingredients in the filling in the order they are listed. When dough has chilled, take out and roll into small balls. Press into miniature tart pan. (These pans can be found in any store.) Fill each of these with the filling, about 2/3 full. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
