Pecan pie



  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • margarine or butter - 3 Tbsp
  • pecan halves
  • Karo light or dark - 1 c
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
  • 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item

How to make pecan pie:

Blend all ingredients, adding pecan halves last. Pour into pastry shell and bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center and edge comes out clean.
