- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- sifted flour - 1 c
- pecans, broken - 2/3 c
- Filling:1 egg
How to make pecan tassies:
Filling:1 egg3/4 c. brown sugar1 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla dash of salt2/3 c. pecans, broken Blend cheese and butter; add flour. Chill 1 hour and shape into 2 dozen 1-inch balls. Place in ungreased small muffin cups; press dough on bottom and sides.Beat eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Put half of the nuts into shells. Add filling. Bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
