Pecan pie bars

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• stick margarine - 1 item
• egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
• brown sugar, packed - 1/2 c
• cake mix
• light Karo syrup
• pecans, chopped - 1 c
• yellow cake mix reserve 2/3 c - 1 pkg

How to make pecan pie bars:

Filling:2/3 c. cake mix1/2 c. brown sugar, packed1 tsp. vanilla1 1/2 c. light Karo syrup3 eggs1 c. pecans, chopped Crust: Combine all ingredients; put in a baking dish. Bake for 25 minutes.

Filling: Combine all ingredients, except pecans; pour over the crust. Sprinkle with the pecans. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Cool; cut into squares.
