  • sugar
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • coconut - 1 c
  • melted butter - 1/2 c
  • unbaked 9-inch pie shell

How to make french coconut pie:

Brush a little egg white on the unbaked pie shell and bake at 400° about 1 minute. This prevents a soggy crust. Beat eggs slightly. Add other ingredients. Pour into pie shell and bake at 400° for 10 minutes; bake at 375° for 15 minutes; bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
