Ingredients/Components
- shortening - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- brown sugar, packed
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
How to make pecan crispies:
Cream shortening, margarine and sugar until soft. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Add in two additions. Beat well after each addition; fold in nuts. Drop from teaspoon 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in 350° oven. Yields 6 dozen cookies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
