  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • cake mix - 2/3 c
  • box yellow cake mix - 1 item
  • light Karo syrup
  • Mix remaining cake mix with egg and butter

How to make pecan pie bars:

Remove 2/3 cup of cake mix and set aside. Mix remaining cake mix with egg and butter. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 20 minutes at 350°.Filling:2 c. chopped pecans2/3 c. cake mix1/2 c. brown sugar1 1/2 c. light Karo syrup1 Tbsp. vanilla3 eggs Combine and pour over baked mixture. Return to oven and bake for 30 minutes. Cool completely and cut into bars.
