Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans
- egg - 1 item
- firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- oleo, melted - 1/2 c
- cake mix
- box yellow cake mix - 1 item
- white corn syrup
How to make pecan pie bars:
Filling:2/3 c. cake mix1 1/2 c. white corn syrup1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar3 eggs Top:1 c. chopped pecans Crust: Oil bottom and sides of 13 x 9-inch pan. Save 2/3 cup cake mix for filling. Mix remainder of cake mix with oleo and egg; press into pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.Filling: Combine and pour over partially baked crust. Sprinkle top with 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until filling is set. Chill thoroughly before serving.
