Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- margarine - 1/4 c
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make pecan pie:
Combine sugar, syrup, margarine and salt. Bring to boil over low heat. Pour mixture over beaten eggs (slowly), stirring constantly. Allow to cool and add vanilla and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375&deRecipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
