- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- white Karo syrup - 1 c
- unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Beat eggs slightly. Mix in Karo syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt. Add pecans. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
