Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• eggs - 3 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• salt - 1/8 tsp
• margarine - 2 Tbsp
• white Karo syrup - 1 c
• unbaked 9-inch pie shell - 1 item

How to make southern pecan pie:

Beat eggs slightly. Mix in Karo syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt. Add pecans. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
