Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • dark corn syrup - 3/4 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • melted oleo - 1 Tbsp
  • egg yolks save whites - 3 item

How to make pecan pie:

Mix all ingredients, except egg whites, thoroughly. Beat the 3 egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture and mix well. Pour into uncooked 9-inch pie shell. Bake slowly for 1 hour at 300°.
