Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- dark corn syrup - 3/4 c
- pecans - 1 c
- melted oleo - 1 Tbsp
- egg yolks save whites - 3 item
How to make pecan pie:
Mix all ingredients, except egg whites, thoroughly. Beat the 3 egg whites until stiff. Fold into mixture and mix well. Pour into uncooked 9-inch pie shell. Bake slowly for 1 hour at 300°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
