Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3 oz
- applesauce - 3 oz
- pears, peeled and grated - 2 c
How to make pear bread:
Combine flour, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and pecans in a large bowl. In a separate dish, combine oil, eggs, sugar, pears and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spoon mixture into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Fruit, Quick breads.
