Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • candy kisses - 4 doz

How to make peanut blossoms:

Combine all ingredients, except candy in large mixer bowl. Mix on lowest speed. Shape dough into balls with teaspoon. Roll balls in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Top each cookie with a candy kiss. Press down firmly so cookie cracks around edges.
