  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • firmly packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • candy kisses - 48 item

How to make peanut blossoms:

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine shortening and peanut butter until blended. Blend in sugars; add egg, milk and vanilla. Mix well. Combine remaining dry ingredients; shape dough into balls. Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Top each cookie immediately with kiss.
