  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • butter - 1 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • lard - 2/3 c
  • peaches - 4 c

How to make peach of a pie:

Pie Crust:2 c. flour1 tsp. salt2/3 c. lard1 egg3 Tbsp. water2 tsp. lemon juice Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and water. Add 1 cup peaches and cook until thickened. Remove from heat; add butter and fold in remaining peaches. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Cover with top crust. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
