Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- lemon juice - 2 tsp
- lard - 2/3 c
- peaches - 4 c
How to make peach of a pie:
Pie Crust:2 c. flour1 tsp. salt2/3 c. lard1 egg3 Tbsp. water2 tsp. lemon juice Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and water. Add 1 cup peaches and cook until thickened. Remove from heat; add butter and fold in remaining peaches. Pour into pastry lined pie pan. Cover with top crust. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes.
