German apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- butter
- soda - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 3/4 c
- salad oil - 1 c
- peeled apples Jonathan, sliced thin - 4 c
- Blend in sugar and vanilla
How to make german apple cake:
Beat salad oil and eggs until frothy. Blend in sugar and vanilla. Gradually add flour, soda, salt and cinnamon. Blend well. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.Icing:3 oz. cream cheese1 1/2 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla3/4 c. powdered sugar Blend together well.
