Peach conserve
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 c
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- apricot Jell-O
- peeled and mashed peaches - 5 c
How to make peach conserve:
In a large enamel or stainless saucepan, combine sugar, peaches and pineapple including juice. Bring to a boil; stir and cook to dissolve sugar. Boil for 20 minutes. Stir in gelatin. While mixture is still hot, pour into hot sterile jars. Seal with hot lids and rings. Makes 6 to 8 small jars. Good on toast or biscuits.
