  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • cornstarch - 1 tsp
  • baking powder
  • shortening - 3 tsp
  • lemon juice - 1 tsp
  • sliced peaches - 4 c

How to make peach cobbler:

Heat oven to 400°. Mix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir in peaches and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. Pour in ungreased 2-quart casserole. Keep mixture hot in oven
