Ingredients/Components

  • olive oil - 2 tsp
  • broccoli florets - 1 c
  • chopped canned tomatoes - 2 tomatoes,
  • yellow squash, cut - 1/2 c
  • carrots, cut - 1/2 c
  • cloves minced garlic - 2 item
  • low salt chicken broth - 1/2 c
  • parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • basil - 1/2 tsp
  • pasta, cooked - 2 c
  • Parmesan cheese - 1 Tbsp

How to make pasta primavera:

In skillet, heat oil. Add broccoli, tomatoes, squash, carrots and garlic. Cook on medium-high heat 1 to 2 minutes. Add broth, parsley and basil. Reduce heat and cover. Cook on low heat about 5 minutes. Add pasta. Sprinkle with cheese.
