Ingredients/Components
- chicken broth - 5 c
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- minced garlic - 2 tsp
- can kidney beans, drained - 1 oz
- fresh oregano or 1 tsp - 2 tsp
- Brussels sprouts - 1 (10
- large, chopped onion - 1 item
- zucchini or yellow squash - 2 c
- uncooked ditalini - 1 c
How to make pasta and bean soup:
In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add garlic and onion; cook 5 to 7 minutes, until just tender. Add broth and 3 cups water. Bring to boil. Add pasta and cook 5 minutes. Add the last 4 ingredients and cook 7 to 8 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Pasta, Chickpeas/garbanzos.
