Ingredients/Components
- to 10 potatoes, peeled and cooked - 8 item
- cream cheese, softened - 8 oz
- sour cream - 8 oz
- chives - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- garlic salt optional - 1 item
- butter - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- paprika - 1 item
How to make party potatoes:
Blend the cream cheese and sour cream in a small bowl. Set aside. Mash potatoes thoroughly until smooth. Add cream cheese mixture and beat well. Stir in chives. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch buttered pan. At this point potatoes may be covered and put in refrigerator. One hour before serving, dot with butter and sprinkle with Cheddar cheese and paprika.
