Hungarian pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- pork chops - 6 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- sauerkraut - 3 c
- paprika - 4 Tbsp
- canned tomatoes
- large potatoes, sliced and parboiled - 3 item
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
How to make hungarian pork chops:
Sprinkle chops lightly with salt and pepper; flour on both sides. Brown in a heavy skillet; then arrange a layer of kraut, then a layer of potatoes with a layer of kraut on top. Sprinkle with paprika and brown sugar. Pour tomatoes over top. Cover and cook slowly on top of stove for 40 to 45 minutes or until chops are very tender.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Pork.
