Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 5 Tbsp
- salt
- flour - 5 c
- butter - 5 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1 item
- dry yeast - 1 Tbsp
- milk, scalded - 2 c
How to make parker house rolls:
Combine sugar and butter in bowl; add hot milk. Cool; add yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add flour and salt. Dough will be soft. Knead very little. Let dough rise in bowl. Press out to 1 inch thick; cut with large cutter. Dip in melted butter; fold in half. Place on 13 x 9-inch pan. Let rise.
