Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- diced celery - 1 c
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- small onion, grated - 1 item
- whole milk - 1 qt
- oysters - 1 pt
How to make oyster soup:
Over medium heat, melt butter and cook celery until tender. Shake in flour, stirring constantly. Pour in a little milk; stir until smooth, then slowly add remainder of milk. Add dry seasonings; cook until boiling point is reached. Add oysters, oyster liquid and onion.
