Clam chowder
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 tsp
- butter - 2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- light cream - 1 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- parsley - 1 tsp
- seasoned salt - 1 tsp
- onion - 1/2 c
- slices bacon - 2 item
- carrots, sliced thin - 1 c
- cans clams - 2 oz
- cubed and cooked potatoes - 1 c
How to make clam chowder:
Cook bacon in butter until crisp. Add onion and carrots; remove bacon. Cook onion and carrots until tender. Add salts, pepper and water; cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes. Combine milk, cream and flour; cook until thick. Add potatoes, bacon, parsley and clams with juice.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chowders, Clams.
