Outrageous chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• granulated sugar - 1/2 c
• pkg - 1 oz
• packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• peanut butter - 1/2 c
• 1 stick margarine or butter, softened - 1/2 c
• quick or regular cooking oats - 1/2 c

How to make outrageous chocolate chip cookies:

Heat oven to 350°. Beat sugars, margarine, peanut butter, vanilla and egg in medium bowl with wooden spoon until creamy and well blended. Mix in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 2 dozen.
