Ingredients/Components

vanilla - 1/2 tsp
granulated sugar - 1/2 c
pkg - 1 oz
packed brown sugar - 1/3 c
salt - 1/4 tsp
flour - 1 c
baking soda - 1 tsp
egg - 1 item
peanut butter - 1/2 c
quick cooking oats - 1/2 c
1 stick margarine or butter, softened - 1/2 c

How to make outrageous chocolate chip cookies:

Beat sugars, margarine, peanut butter, vanilla and egg in medium bowl with wooden spoon until creamy and well blended. Mix in flour, salt, soda and oats. Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet. Yields about 2 dozen cookies.

For Bars: Grease bottom of 9 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Spread dough in pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
