Orange drop cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• brown sugar
• soda - 1 tsp
• baking powder
• shortening - 3/4 c
• grated orange rind
• nuts, broken - 3/4 c
• juice of 1 orange
• or more flour - 3 c

How to make orange drop cookies:

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Then add rest of ingredients in order given. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake in a moderate oven for 12-15 minutes. When cool, add orange icing made with 1 Tbsp. butter, 1 tsp. orange rind,
