  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • butter - 6 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • soda
  • confectioners sugar - 2 c
  • baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • apple butter
  • Bake at 350° for 50 minutes in 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan

How to make apple butter cake:

Mix ingredients. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes in 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan.Caramel Frosting:8 Tbsp. milk6 Tbsp. butter1 c. brown sugar2 c. confectioners sugar1 Tbsp. vanilla Boil first 3 ingredients for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add sugar and vanilla.
