eggs beaten - 3 item
cup orange juice - 1/3 item
cups sugar - 2 item
teaspoon salt - 1 item
teaspoon soda - 1 item
cup shortening - 1 item
cups sifted all purpose flour - 4 item

How to make orange drop cookies:

Peel orange. Remove seed and skin. Combine sugar, shortening, orange, orange juice, eggs, soda, salt and flour in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on and ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown. Remove from oven and cool slightly. Transfer cookies to rack to cool completely.
