Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/3 c
- orange juice - 1/3 c
- box orange jello - 1 item
- orange flavoring - 1 tsp
- box orange cake mix - 1 item
- size carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
- Make two layers
- Reserve one cup for frosting
How to make orange cake:
Mix together. Make two layers. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Cool and split layers with a thread.Filling:1 carton sour cream2 c. sugar1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen coconut1/3 c. orange juice1 tsp. vanilla1 tsp. orange flavoring Put in between cake layers. Reserve one cup for frosting.Frosting:1 c. filling1 (13 oz. size) carton Cool Whip Combine. Put some in the middle of cake with filling and frost with remaining. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
