  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • flour - 5 c
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • warm water - 1/2 c
  • garlic salt - 2 Tbsp
  • cottage cheese - 2 c
  • yeast - 2 pkg
  • minced onions - 2 Tbsp

How to make onion bread:

Mix first 4 ingredients. Put on stove (turn stove on low heat) until warm and margarine melts. With another bowl mix yeast, sugar and warm water. After yeast dissolves, mix warm mixture with eggs. Fold in flour until sticky. Leave in bowl and let rise for 1 hour. Take out and knead, then put in 2 loaf pans. Let rise, then bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Brush with margarine.
