Oatmeal scotchies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- flour
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- margarine, softened - 1 c
- ground cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- oats quick or old fashioned, uncooked - 3 c
How to make oatmeal scotchies:
Heat oven to 375°. Beat margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Gradually add combined flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients.Drop by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7 to 8 minutes for a chewy cookie or 9 to 10 minutes for a crisp cookie.
